Andy Cooper is a serial entrepreneur and has experience in venture management, venture investing and investment banking since 1984. He has built, run and sold three companies worth more than $800 million and has raised over $300 million in equity and debt financing for his companies.
Andy is co-founder, director and former co-CEO of Unison Site Management, a leading cellular site owner with 2,000 plus cell sites which generate more than $40 million in annual cash flow. In 2006, Unison sold some of its cell site assets to Goldman Sachs. He also co-founded Brand Asset Digital, a company which markets, distributes and analyzes digital media on file trading systems and the Web. Additionally, Andy was co-founder, CFO and VP of business development for Avesta Technologies, an enterprise, information and technology management software company bought by Visual Networks in 2000.
Andy was with Morgan Stanley for fourteen years, which included seven years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, where he focused on late-stage venture investments, consolidations and buy-outs. Andy served as a director of CSG Systems (CSGS), Protection One Alarm (ALRM), LionBridge Technologies (LIOX) and Weblink Wireless (WLNKA). He also worked in Morgan Stanley’s Debt Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions divisions in New York and Tokyo. Andy is on the boards of Brand Asset Digital, Unison Site Management, Aquatic Energy and the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club of New York.
