Matt Oesterling is an Assistant Vice President and is responsible for originating, executing, and managing investments across various industries. Prior to joining Prospect, he worked for Main Street Capital for five years on the Lower Middle Market investment team sourcing and evaluating new opportunities, assisting with underwriting, due diligence, and documentation of new investments, and managing portfolio companies. Matt began his career with Ernst and Young as an Associate in their Assurance Group.

Matt received his BBA and Master in Professional Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
