Senior Management

John Francis Barry III
John is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation (PSEC) and of Prospect Capital Management (PCM). John is Chairman of PCM’s Investment Committee and has been an officer of PCM (and predecessors) since 1990.

In addition to overseeing PSEC and PCM, John has served on the boards of directors of more than a dozen private and public portfolio companies, including as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bondnet Trading Systems, Inc. John also has served on the Board of Advisors of USEC, Inc., a publicly-traded energy company.

From 1988 to 1989, John managed the Corporate Finance Department of L.F. Rothschild & Company. From 1983 to 1988, John was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. From 1979 to 1983, John was an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell. From 1978 to 1979, John served as Law Clerk to Circuit Judge J. Edward Lumbard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City. John served from 1999 until 2011 as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mathematics Foundation of America, a non-profit foundation that enhances opportunities in mathematics education for students from diverse backgrounds.

John received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Princeton University, where he was a University Scholar.

M. Grier Eliasek
Mr. Eliasek is President and Chief Operating Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation and a Managing Director of Prospect Capital Management and Prospect Administration. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Prospect Capital Corporation.

At Prospect Capital, Mr. Eliasek is responsible for leading the Prospect team of professionals in the origination and assessment of investments. Mr. Eliasek serves on the Board of Directors of Gas Solutions Holdings, Inc., a gas gathering and processing company in East Texas, and he is actively involved in the Prospect Capital portfolio. Prior to Prospect Capital, Mr. Eliasek served as a Managing Director with Prospect Street Ventures, an investment management firm which, together with its predecessors, has invested in excess of $1.5 billion in senior loan, mezzanine, bridge loan, private equity, and venture capital structures through publicly traded closed-end funds and private limited partnerships.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Eliasek served as a consultant with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, where he managed engagements for companies in several different industries. At Bain, Mr. Eliasek analyzed new lines of businesses, developed market strategies, revamped sales organizations, and improved operational performance.

Mr. Eliasek received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Eliasek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar and a Rodman Scholar.

Brian H. Oswald
Mr. Oswald is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation and a Managing Director of Prospect Administration LLC, responsible for all finance and compliance functions. Mr. Oswald is also the Secretary and Treasurer for the corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Oswald spent two years with the Structured Finance Division of GSC Group, serving as Managing Director of Finance. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Oswald was employed by Capital Trust, Inc., a self-managed finance and investment management REIT which specializes in credit-sensitive structured financial products, as their Chief Accounting Officer. In 2003, he was elevated to Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Capital Trust, a position he held until 2005. During his tenure with Capital Trust, the company completed the public offering which recapitalized the company and raised three private equity funds with commitments in excess of $1.5 billion.

From 1996 to 1997, Mr. Oswald served as the Corporate Controller for Magic Solutions, Inc., an international computer software company and led the expansion and surveillance of the three international sites. He was the Director of Financial Reporting and Subsidiary Accounting for River Bank America from 1995 to 1996 and assisted in raising $85 million of new capital for the bank. From 1992 to 1994, he was the Executive Vice President and President of Gloversville Federal Savings and Loan Association, where he was successful in instituting operational changes, resulting in the Office of Thrift Supervision removing a cease and desist order against the institution.

Mr. Oswald began his career in 1982 at KPMG Peat Marwick where he held various positions over his ten-year tenure, finishing as a senior manager in the financial institutions group. During his time at KPMG, he served as the reviewing senior manager for several initial public offerings of financial institutions.

Mr. Oswald holds a B.A. degree in Accounting from Moravian College and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the States of New York and Pennsylvania and is a Certified Management Accountant.

Daria Becker
Ms. Becker has over 25 years of financial and investment experience. She joined Prospect in 1998 and oversees the firm's operations and finances. She handles Investor Relations for Prospect Capital Corporation and is involved with the operations and compliance of Prospect Capital Management and Prospect Administration. In addition, Ms. Becker manages the administration for certain portfolio companies, working with their management and investors.

From 1985 to 1998, Ms. Becker managed a family office which specialized in hedge fund and alternative investments. From 1986 to 1992, she also managed a real estate partnership. Ms. Becker began her professional career in 1978 at Citibank NA. From 1978 to 1985, she was an officer at Citibank NA, focusing on lending and new business development. She also held senior positions in marketing at Citibank.

Ms. Becker is the spouse of Mr. Barry. Ms. Becker graduated from Wellesley College Phi Beta Kappa and Durant Scholar summa cum laude. She also attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Investment Team

David L. Belzer
David Belzer has 15 years of experience in energy finance, most recently with Prospect. Mr. Belzer currently serves as Managing Director and Head of Energy & Direct Lending for Prospect.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Belzer was a member of the Structured Finance Group at GE Capital, where he focused on investments in the oil and gas sector. While at GE Capital, Mr. Belzer structured over $250 million in limited partnership and senior secured investments in oil and gas assets.

From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Belzer worked for Wheelabrator Technologies, a developer of waste-to-energy plants. While at Wheelabrator, Mr. Belzer focused on power plant acquisitions and development of the company's inside-the-fence cogeneration strategy in the northeast.

Mr. Belzer graduated from the University of Indiana with a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies. Subsequently, Mr. Belzer received his MBA from the Olin School of Business at Washington University.

Bart J. de Bie
Mr. de Bie is a Managing Director of Prospect Capital Management, LLC. He has been with Prospect since 2004. Mr. de Bie leads Prospect’s control buyout business, where he oversees the firm’s “one-stop” control equity and debt investments in U.S. and Canadian middle market businesses across all industries. Mr. de Bie is a Director on the Boards of each of Airmall USA, Ajax Rolled Ring & Machine, Freedom Marine, Gas Solutions, Iron Horse Coiled Tubing, MANX, NRG Manufacturing, and R-V Industries, all of which are Prospect-controlled portfolio companies. Mr. de Bie is also active in Prospect’s non-control investing business.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. de Bie spent several years as an investment banker. From 2003 into 2004, Mr. de Bie was with Cenatar Advisory Group, an advisory boutique. Mr. de Bie spent 1997 through 2002 as an investment banker with JPMorganChase, primarily in the Mergers & Acquisitions group where he advised clients across a range of industries on various transformational transactions.

Mr. de Bie graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a B.A. in Economics and received his J.D. from the George Washington University Law School. Mr. de Bie has been admitted to the New York Bar and has completed the NASD Series 7, 24 and 63 exams.

Richard T. Carratu
Mr. Carratu is a managing director at Prospect Capital Management and has over 27 years of financial experience in transaction origination, deal structuring, portfolio management, restructurings and turnarounds. He has invested over $2.0 billion in middle market debt and equity transactions in diverse industries, such as energy, transportation, infrastructure, chemical, aerospace and general manufacturing. At Prospect, Mr. Carratu is responsible for originating, evaluating and monitoring Prospect’s senior, mezzanine and equity investments. He serves on the Board of Directors of AIRMALL USA, Inc and Nupla Corporation.

Most recently, Mr. Carratu served as a Managing Director in GE Capital’s Structured Finance Group, where he led a team focused on originating and executing high yielding asset-based and cash flow debt financings, restructurings, leases and equity investments. Prior to joining GE, Mr. Carratu worked at the Polish-American Enterprise Equity Fund, where he monitored and exited various portfolio companies. Before that, he served as a Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Joseph Littlejohn & Levy, a private equity firm, where he participated in evaluating, investing, monitoring and exiting various portfolio companies in the communications and industrial manufacturing industries. Mr. Carratu’s background includes GAAP and SEC financial reporting, along with M&A and restructuring advisory services. Mr. Carratu started his career at Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers), where he held several positions before becoming a senior manager in the Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Carratu holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, where he became a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society, and a BS in Accounting from Long Island University School of Professional Accountancy. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Theodore V. Fowler
Mr. Fowler joined Prospect in 2011 as a Managing Director with responsibility to oversee selected portfolio companies and work with the Company’s control buyout team in originating and executing control investment transactions.

With over 40 years of Wall Street experience, including having co-headed the investment and merchant banking departments of both Credit Suisse First Boston and then Prudential-Bache, Mr. Fowler has spent the past 20 years of his career focused on advising and raising capital for small and mid-cap companies, most recently at Laidlaw & Company, where he was the head of the firm’s investment banking group. Over the years, he has been on numerous boards of directors and consummated private equity investment transactions across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, insurance, real estate, hospitality, technology and consumer branded products.

Mr. Fowler has a BA degree from Amherst College and an MBA from Columbia University. In his prior capacities on Wall Street, he was a registered principal, with FINRA Series 24, 63 and 7 licenses.

Robert J. Klein
Robert Klein has 25 years of middle market investing experience. He has invested over $2.0 billion in middle market debt and equity transactions in diverse industries. At Prospect, Mr. Klein focuses on control buyout investments as well as other debt and equity opportunities for the firm.

Most recently, Mr. Klein led the New York private equity portfolio team for American Capital, Ltd. At American Capital, Mr. Klein also led numerous mezzanine and senior debt investments with financial sponsor clients. Prior to joining ACAS, Mr. Klein worked at American Securities and American Industrial Partners, both active middle market private equity firms. He started his career working in the Mergers and Acquisitions groups of First Boston and Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Klein received his BA in History of Art summa cum laude from Yale College and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. Klein received a JD with Distinction from Stanford Law School and is a member of the California Bar (inactive status). He serves on the Board of Trustees of Temple Beth El of Northern Westchester and on the Committee for Ancient and Byzantine Art at the Art Institute of Chicago. He is a former Professional Fellow of the New York University Center for Law and Business.

David Moszer
Mr. Moszer is a Managing Director at Prospect with 18 years of experience investing and structuring debt securities in private companies. At Prospect Capital, Mr. Moszer is responsible for transaction execution and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Prospect Capital, Mr. Moszer spent two years at GSO Capital Partners where he executed middle market junior capital transactions. From 2004 to 2007, Mr. Moszer was a Principal at FriedbergMilstein, a firm that he helped to establish as a leading investor in middle market second lien and mezzanine debt transactions. At FriedbergMilstein, Mr. Moszer participated in the process to raise three separate investment funds totaling $1.5 billion of committed capital. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Moszer was a Principal at GarMark Partners, where he was involved in the firm's direct mezzanine investing activities. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Moszer was a member of the merchant banking group at Banque Paribas where he originated senior debt transactions for middle market leveraged buyouts. Mr. Moszer began his career at Bear Stearns in 1993 in the investment banking group where he focused on merger & acquisition advisory activities.

Mr. Moszer holds an MBA from Columbia University with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia where he majored in Physics.

Benton Cummings
Benton Cummings has 14 years of professional experience including 11 years of buy-side, middle-market investing experience. Mr. Cummings is a Managing Director at Prospect Capital and focuses on originating, evaluating and monitoring Prospect’s senior, mezzanine and equity investments.

Until 2009, Mr. Cummings was a Managing Director and head of Allied Capital’s private finance effort in New York. While with Allied, Mr. Cummings invested in excess of $1 billion and has extensive experience structuring and managing both debt and equity investments. Mr. Cummings represented Allied on several boards and held board observer roles in 18 middle market companies. Mr. Cummings also served on the credit committee for Allied’s $2.5 billion asset management platform, which invested in middle market and broadly syndicated loans through five CLO funds and a $400 million debt fund. Prior to Allied Capital, Mr. Cummings was an Associate with Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for analyzing and managing public equity and debt offerings as well as M&A transactions.

Mr. Cummings received a BA from Dartmouth College and a MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School (UNC).

Mark Hull
Mr. Hull has been with Prospect since June 2006 and focuses on origination and execution of investment opportunities in the oil and gas production, midstream gathering and processing, oilfield services and oilfield fabrication sectors. Mr. Hull manages several Prospect portfolio companies and is a Board Member of Gas Solutions, C&J Cladding, NRG Manufacturing, RV and Freedom Marine. Mr. Hull works primarily out of Houston.

Prior to Prospect, Mr. Hull worked for Ballard Exploration, a private, Houston-based oil and gas exploration and production company. At Ballard, Mr. Hull provided financial analyses for business development in upstream and midstream projects. From 2002 through 2004, Mr. Hull worked for L. M. Girard & Co., L.P., a Houston-based private equity firm specializing in energy and process industry buyouts. At L. M. Girard, Mr. Hull was responsible for evaluating, structuring and conducting due diligence for leveraged buyout transactions. From 2001 to 2002, Mr. Hull worked for a long/ short equity hedge fund in the Robertson family office in Houston. Prior to Robertson, Mr. Hull worked for three years as an investment banker with Merrill Lynch in New York and Southwest Securities in Dallas.

Mr. Hull graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA in Finance and received his MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business.

Jason Wilson
Jason Wilson is a Managing Director at Prospect Capital Corporation. Mr. Wilson focuses on origination, execution and restructuring of investment opportunities. Mr. Wilson is currently a director of Re:fuel, Inc. and Yatesville Coal Holdings, Inc. Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Wilson worked in investment banking for nine years at Lehman Brothers, Inc. and UBS Investment Bank. Most recently, Mr. Wilson served as Executive Director and Head of Out-of-Home Entertainment at UBS covering clients in the theme park, movie theatre, live entertainment and outdoor advertising sectors. Mr. Wilson has executed M&A transactions valued at over $11 billion in aggregate and has raised over $12 billion of capital in aggregate for clients including the Walt Disney Company, NBC Universal, Clear Channel Outdoor and Gemstar-TV Guide.

Prior to investment banking, Mr. Wilson served as a Senior Project Engineer at Exxon Corporation where he was responsible for reservoir development, production and joint ventures involving oil and natural gas properties in West Texas and North Dakota.

Mr. Wilson graduated magna cum laude with a BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and graduated with an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

Jim Clippard
Mr. Clippard joined Prospect in 2010, bringing more than five years of experience in sourcing, executing, and managing middle-market private equity investments, primarily in the consumer, retail, financial services, and manufacturing industries. At Prospect, Mr. Clippard focuses on origination, execution, and monitoring of debt and equity investments, including VPSI, Inc. and J.D. Byrider, Inc.

Previously, Mr. Clippard was a Principal at Cooper Essex Capital LLC, a private equity partnership focused solely on the U.S. community banking sector. Prior thereto, Mr. Clippard was a Principal at Circle Peak Capital LLC, a New York City-based private equity sponsor which led numerous leveraged buyouts in a variety of industries. Mr. Clippard has served in voting and non-voting board capacities at Fischbein LLC, Luxury Optical Holdings LLC, Rocket Dog Brand Holdings LLC, WealthTrust, Inc., and Hill & Valley, Inc. Mr. Clippard began his career in equity derivatives within Goldman Sachs’ and Bear Stearns’ stock specialist subsidiaries. In this capacity, Mr. Clippard engaged in general business development activities, including new product development.

Mr. Clippard has a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from the The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Mr. Clippard also studied at the London School of Economics.

Seth Tutlis
Mr. Tutlis focuses on originating, analyzing, and executing credit and equity investments for the firm. He also monitors existing investments.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Tutlis was part of the investment team of Patriot Capital Funding, Inc., where he focused on leveraged finance investments across a variety of industries. Before Patriot Capital Funding, he worked as an equity analyst for Soundview Capital Management and Sidoti & Company covering a variety of sectors, including small-capitalization Defense & Aerospace, and Engineering & Construction, among others. In his early career, Mr. Tutlis worked for AllianceBernstein Institutional Investments, and its predecessor Sanford C. Bernstein, where he focused on managing international equity portfolios for institutional investors.

Mr. Tutlis graduated from the Yale School of Management with a MBA, and received a BS in Finance from Sacred Heart University. He also holds the CFA designation.

Sachin Sarnobat
Mr. Sarnobat is involved in the origination, analysis and execution of mezzanine debt and private equity transactions. Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Sarnobat was in investment banking where he advised private equity and corporate clients on transactions valued at over $25 billion in aggregate. Most recently he was part of the leveraged finance team at Citigroup where he advised on, structured and executed transactions for several leveraged buyouts, bankruptcy exits and debt refinancings. Before Citigroup, he was with Merrill Lynch where he originated and executed M&A, debt and equity transactions for a variety of private equity sponsors seeking to exit their leveraged buyout investments.

Mr. Sarnobat began his career with a technology start-up company that provided advanced analytics to the consumer credit risk industry. His publications include a U.S. patent on data mining technology, a refereed paper in an engineering journal and several conference presentations.

Mr. Sarnobat earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at the University of Mumbai. He was awarded his Masters in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville based on his research on chaos theory at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received his MBA with top honors at Columbia Business School and has completed the NASD Series 7 and 63 exams.

Ben Harris
Ben Harris joined Prospect in 2011, bringing over ten years of experience in the investment banking and private equity industries. Mr. Harris focuses on originating, evaluating and monitoring the firm's investments. Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Harris worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch's Financial Sponsors team in New York. Mr. Harris began his career in London at Merrill Lynch working in Leveraged Finance and Telecom, Media and Technology advisory team. He then moved to Arcapita, a mid-market private equity firm, where he was a founding member of Arcapita’s European corporate investment team completing three control investments and one realization.

Mr. Harris received his MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics (Honors) from University College London.

Seb Cervinka
Seb Cervinka focuses on originating, evaluating and monitoring the firm's mezzanine and equity investments.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Cervinka worked as an associate in the investment banking group at Credit Suisse, advising clients in the multifamily, lodging and gaming sectors. From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Cervinka was employed by CAE, the largest provider of flight training solutions to the civil and military aviation industries. He led the mechanical engineering team on the design, manufacture and launch of a new line of reconfigurable full-flight simulators. Prior to CAE, he worked in various roles for GE Healthcare and Air Liquide.

Mr. Cervinka graduated with great distinction (summa cum laude) from McGill University in 1999 with a B. Eng. in Mechanical Engineering and earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School in 2007. Mr. Cervinka is a Professional Engineer and holds the CFA designation.

Ziyaad Ahmed
Ziyaad Ahmed joined Prospect Capital in 2010 as an Associate, focusing on originating, evaluating and monitoring debt and equity investments. His experience includes assessing investment opportunities in both public and private markets.

Previously, Mr. Ahmed was part of the U.S. Aerospace and Defense group at Lazard Frères in Los Angeles. He was part of the original team hired by Lazard to help create a sector-focused practice under the larger industrials group. While at Lazard, Mr. Ahmed advised companies on financing and strategic alternatives and was involved in transactions aggregating more than $2 billion. His clients have included some of the largest companies in the sector including Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman.

Mr. Ahmed graduated magna cum laude with a dual degree in Finance from the Wharton Business School and Arts from the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania. He has also completed his Level I CFA.

Ashish Shetty
Ashish Shetty focuses on originating, evaluating and monitoring the firm’s primary and secondary investment opportunities. Mr. Shetty was previously a credit and special situations analyst at DiMaio Ahmad Capital (DAC), a $3.5 billion credit opportunities hedge fund. While at DAC, Mr. Shetty analyzed bank loan, high yield and equity investments across various industries including autos, retail, trucking and packaging. Mr. Shetty also focused on European special situation investment opportunities. Prior to DAC, Mr. Shetty was a distressed debt and distressed private equity analyst at Resurgence Asset Management. While at Resurgence, Mr. Shetty focused on distressed investments in the auto and homebuilding sectors.

Mr. Shetty started as an analyst in CIBC World Markets’ leveraged finance / financial sponsor coverage investment banking division where he was ranked in the top tier of his analyst class. Mr. Shetty earned his BA in Economics and Mathematics from Columbia University.

Nathan Taylor
Nathan Taylor focuses on originating and monitoring Prospect’s debt and equity investments.

Prior to joining the Firm in 2010, Mr. Taylor worked in Lazard's Consumer & Retail Group in New York. At Lazard, he was involved in transactions aggregating $25 billion, including Kraft Foods' acquisition of Cadbury, Kraft Foods' sale of its North American Frozen Pizza Business to Nestlé, and Callaway Golf's Convertible Preferred Stock issuance.

Mr. Taylor graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an A.B. in economics.

Credit Risk & Portfolio Management

Steven Stone
Joining in mid 2010, Mr. Stone is the Chief Credit Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation. He brings over 25 years of commercial lending and investing experience, and sits on Prospect’s three credit committees.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Stone served in executive and senior vice president positions in credit administration and originations at Greystone Companies, a hedge fund; Sovereign Bank; Wells Fargo Century, and Congress Financial Corporation. Prior to entering the commercial finance field, Mr. Stone worked at Ernst and Young for six years.

Mr. Stone has an MBA from New York University and a BBA from the George Washington University. He is a CPA in New York and New Jersey.

Joseph Ferraro joined Prospect Capital Corporation as Vice President, General Counsel for Prospect Administration, the administrator for Prospect Capital Corporation. Mr. Ferraro's prior experience focused on private equity investments, domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, and general corporate advice to publicly and privately held corporations.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Ferraro was a corporate associate at the law firms of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. During that time, Mr. Ferraro represented public and private companies, private equity funds and their sponsors, and institutional investors in structuring and negotiating complex, privately-negotiated acquisitions and divestitures, public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, and venture capital and private equity investments, as well as structuring and forming private equity funds.

Mr. Ferraro graduated cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. from The Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, and graduated with honors from The Law School at The University of Chicago, where he served on the University of Chicago Law Review as a Staff Member and Managing Editor.

Kenneth S. Levine
Kenneth S. Levine is Vice President - Legal for Prospect Administration, LLC, the administrator for Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Levine was a litigation associate at the law firm of Carter Ledyard & Milburn LLP in New York. At Carter Ledyard, Mr. Levine represented corporations and individuals in a wide range of complex civil litigations brought in federal and state court or in arbitration. He also represented clients during investigations and actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, the New York State Attorney General’s Office, and other federal or state law enforcement entities. Prior to his work at Carter Ledyard, Mr. Levine was a litigation associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP, and was an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office, working in the trial and appeals bureaus.

Mr. Levine graduated cum laude from Columbia University with a BA in English, and from New York University School of Law, where he was managing editor of the Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and editor in chief of the student law school newspaper, The Commentator.

Finance

Kristin Van Dask
Ms. Van Dask joined Prospect Administration LLC as the Controller of Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Van Dask spent one year with the Structured Finance Division of GSC Group LLC, a registered investment advisor specializing in credit-based alternative investment strategies. Ms. Van Dask was an Accounting Manager responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of private equity and hedge funds invested in a diverse series of leveraged structured credit instruments.

From 2002 to 2007, Ms. Van Dask held various positions within the Assurance practice of Ernst & Young LLP, working on a variety of privately held and publicly traded clients, private equity funds, management companies and investment advisory partnerships. She was responsible for the supervision of financial statement audits for funds with portfolios ranging up to $10 billion and a publicly traded company with manufacturing revenues of over $8 billion. In 2001, Ms. Van Dask began her public accounting career at Arthur Andersen LLP in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ms. Van Dask is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of New York and Maryland, and graduated magna cum laude from Towson University with a B. S. in Accounting.

Alexandra Krasinets
Alexandra Krasinets joined Prospect Administration LLC as the Senior Accountant of Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Krasinets spent three years with the Assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, providing audit services to a variety of alternative investments clients including hedge funds, private equity funds, and business development companies.

Ms. Krasinets also spent two years working part time in the Tax Department of Keyspan Energy (now National Grid). She worked on various compliance projects, tax filings and tax accounting.

Ms. Krasinets is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York and graduated from Pace University with a combined BBA/MBA degree in Public Accounting.

Maureen Payne
Ms. Payne joined Prospect Administration LLC as a Senior Associate of Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Payne spent three years in the Assurance Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC, working primarily on audits of mutual funds, hedge funds, and registered investment companies. During her years with PwC, Ms. Payne also worked on financial due diligence projects with the Market Information and Data Analytics group within the Financial Services industry.

Ms. Payne received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the College of Mount Saint Vincent where she graduated cum laude and with Dean’s List First Honors. Ms. Payne also received the Wall Street Journal Student Achievement Award for her individual growth and potential and academic achievement in the Business Department. Ms. Payne is a member of Delta Mu Delta – International Honor Society in Business.

Jessica Cheng
Ms. Cheng joined Prospect Administration LLC as a Senior Associate of Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Cheng spent five years with the Assurance practice of KPMG LLP, working primarily on financial statement audits of asset management clients including hedge funds, private equity funds and mutual funds. She was the in-charge senior responsible for overseeing the year-round audits of a large mutual fund complex comprising over 150 funds. During her years with KPMG, Ms. Cheng also worked on select projects within the financial due diligence group of Transaction Services, performing buy-side due diligence on financial institutions and asset management clients.

Ms. Cheng received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with the distinction of Highest Honor from Binghamton University.

Bongsoo Choi
Mr. Choi joined Prospect Administration LLC as an Accounting Associate for Prospect Capital Corporation.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Choi interned with Samhwa Accounting Corporation, working on various day to day activities. Mr. Choi also worked briefly at a startup company focusing on eco-friendly merchandise while attending classes at NYU.

Mr. Choi graduated from New York University Stern business school with a B.A. in Accounting and Management.

Business Development

Megumi Koike
Ms. Koike has 14 years of professional sales and fundraising experience in multiple asset classes including global equities, commodities, private equity, infrastructure and real estate in Tokyo, London and New York, as well as global relationships with institutional investors. Ms. Koike joined Prospect Capital in 2010 to lead business development and fundraising.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Koike spent nearly 10 years with HSBC in Tokyo, London and New York as a lead fundraiser for HSBC’s Principal Investments’ private equity, real estate and infrastructure funds. She joined HSBC in 2001 from Fidelity Investments where she held a role as Sales Specialist for Fidelity’s equity funds and advised a number of major European insurance companies on developing variable annuities.

Ms. Koike began her professional career at ORIX Corp., one of the largest non-banking financial services companies in Japan and was a sales representative for the firm’s commodity funds. Ms. Koike graduated from HOSEI University, Japan with a BA in Economics.

Nishil Mehta
Nishil Mehta focuses on originating, evaluating and monitoring Prospect’s senior, mezzanine and equity investments in private companies. Additionally he is involved with the firm’s capital raising and business development initiatives.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr Mehta worked at CIT Asset Management. At CIT, he served as one of four credit analysts managing a $4.0 billion portfolio of middle market and broadly syndicated leveraged loans. Prior to CIT, Mr. Mehta worked for five years at Wachovia Securities. In the Structured Products Group at Wachovia, he raised and managed over $10.0 billion of debt in structured form for U.S. and European hedge funds, specialty finance companies, and asset managers. In the CoLTS group Mr. Mehta originated and purchased middle market leveraged loans for the purpose of building and managing CLO portfolios.

Mr. Mehta earned his BBA with honors in finance and accounting from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.

Carol Bursell
Carol Bursell specializes in recruitment, employment and compliance for Prospect Capital Management.

Prior to joining Prospect, Ms. Bursell worked in the U.K. for a regional staffing and recruiting agency, Kingston Recruitment. She completed a variety of Business Administration assignments, concentrating on office management, sales and marketing.

Ms. Bursell graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in French Studies from the University of Warwick, U.K., and holds a post-graduate certificate in International Business Practice, with Distinction, from the Mountbatten Institute.

Board of Directors

John Francis Barry III
John is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation (PSEC) and of Prospect Capital Management (PCM). John is Chairman of PCM’s Investment Committee and has been an officer of PCM (and predecessors) since 1990.

In addition to overseeing PSEC and PCM, John has served on the boards of directors of more than a dozen private and public portfolio companies, including as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bondnet Trading Systems, Inc. John also has served on the Board of Advisors of USEC, Inc., a publicly-traded energy company.

From 1988 to 1989, John managed the Corporate Finance Department of L.F. Rothschild & Company. From 1983 to 1988, John was an investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. From 1979 to 1983, John was an attorney at Davis Polk & Wardwell. From 1978 to 1979, John served as Law Clerk to Circuit Judge J. Edward Lumbard of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit in New York City. John served from 1999 until 2011 as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mathematics Foundation of America, a non-profit foundation that enhances opportunities in mathematics education for students from diverse backgrounds.

John received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review, and his Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude from Princeton University, where he was a University Scholar.

William Gremp
William J. Gremp's career as an investment banker, with over 30 years of corporate finance experience in originating and executing transactions and advisory assignments for energy and utility related clients, has spanned years of significant change in the energy industry. Since 1999, Mr. Gremp has been responsible for traditional banking services, credit and lending, private equity and corporate cash management with Merrill Lynch & Co. From 1996 to 1999, he served at Wachovia as senior vice president, managing director and co-founder of the utilities and energy investment banking group, responsible for origination, structuring, negotiation and successful completion of transactions utilizing investment banking, capital markets and traditional commercial banking products. From 1989 to 1996, Mr. Gremp was the managing director of global power and project finance at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he was responsible for the origination, delivery and successful implementation of all corporate finance and investment banking products and services to the utility and energy industries. He advised clients on corporate strategy, project financing, mergers and acquisitions and equity and lease finance. From 1970 to 1989, Mr. Gremp was with Merrill Lynch & Co., starting out as an associate in the mergers and acquisitions department, then in 1986 becoming the senior vice president, managing director and head of the regulated industries group. From 1965 to 1970, Mr. Gremp served in roles at the United States Army, the Mobil Oil Corporation and a New York management consulting firm. Mr. Gremp received his MBA from New York University and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota.

Andrew C. Cooper
Andy Cooper is a serial entrepreneur with 25 years of experience in venture management, venture investing and investment banking. He has built, run and sold three companies worth more than $800 million and has raised over $300 million in equity and debt financing for his companies.

Mr. Cooper is co-founder, director and former co-CEO of Unison Site Management, a leading cellular site owner with 2,000 plus cell sites which generate more than $40 million in annual cash flow. In 2006, Unison sold some of its cell site assets to Goldman Sachs. Mr. Cooper also co-founded Brand Asset Digital, a company which markets, distributes and analyzes digital media on file trading systems and the Web. Additionally, Mr. Cooper was co-founder, CFO and VP of business development for Avesta Technologies, an enterprise, information and technology management software company bought by Visual Networks in 2000.

Mr. Cooper was with Morgan Stanley for fourteen years, which included seven years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners, where he focused on late-stage venture investments, consolidations and buy-outs. He served as a director of CSG Systems (CSGS), Protection One Alarm (ALRM), LionBridge Technologies (LIOX) and Weblink Wireless (WLNKA). Mr. Cooper also worked in Morgan Stanley's Debt Capital Markets and Mergers & Acquisitions divisions in New York and Tokyo.

Mr. Cooper is on the boards of Brand Asset Digital, Unison Site Management, Aquatic Energy and the Madison Square Boys and Girls Club of New York. He earned his BA from Duke University.

M. Grier Eliasek
Mr. Eliasek is President and Chief Operating Officer of Prospect Capital Corporation and a Managing Director of Prospect Capital Management and Prospect Administration. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Prospect Capital Corporation.

At Prospect Capital, Mr. Eliasek is responsible for leading the Prospect team of professionals in the origination and assessment of investments. Mr. Eliasek serves on the Board of Directors of Gas Solutions Holdings, Inc., a gas gathering and processing company in East Texas, and he is actively involved in the Prospect Capital portfolio. Prior to Prospect Capital, Mr. Eliasek served as a Managing Director with Prospect Street Ventures, an investment management firm which, together with its predecessors, has invested in excess of $1.5 billion in senior loan, mezzanine, bridge loan, private equity, and venture capital structures through publicly traded closed-end funds and private limited partnerships.

Prior to joining Prospect, Mr. Eliasek served as a consultant with Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm, where he managed engagements for companies in several different industries. At Bain, Mr. Eliasek analyzed new lines of businesses, developed market strategies, revamped sales organizations, and improved operational performance.

Mr. Eliasek received his MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Eliasek received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia, where he was a Jefferson Scholar and a Rodman Scholar.

Eugene S. Stark
Eugene S. Stark is a financial executive with over 20 years of experience in directing the financial and administrative functions of investment management organizations. He has broad experience in financial management, SEC reporting and compliance; strategic and financial planning; expense, capital and risk management; fund administration; due diligence; acquisition analysis; and integration activities.

Since May 2005, Mr. Stark has served as the Principal Financial Officer, Chief Compliance Officer and Vice President of Administration at General American Investors Company, Inc. where he is responsible for operations, compliance, and financial functions. From January to April of 2005, Mr. Stark was the Chief Financial Officer of Prospect Energy Corporation, prior to which he worked at Prudential Financial, Inc between 1987 and 2004. His many positions within Prudential include ten years as Vice President and Fund Treasurer of Prudential Mutual Funds, where he was responsible for financial, SEC and Board of Directors reporting for 70 investment companies with $45 billion of assets under management. Mr. Stark's other roles at Prudential include four years as Senior Vice President of Finance of Prudential Investments, an investment product operating unit with $90 billion of assets under management and two years as Vice President of Finance of Prudential Amenities. In addition to his appointment to the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee of Prospect Capital, Mr. Stark is also a member of Mount Saint Mary Academy's Finance Committee.

Mr. Stark is a Certified Public Accountant. He received his BS in Accounting, cum laude, from Rider University, and his MBA in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
